A simple calculation method of heat transport coefficients in atomic systems is introduced. This approach does not require any resolution of atomic trajectories. The result can be expressed in a simple Landauer-like form where the transmission coefficient is microscopically given by a trace formula with respect to the dynamical matrix of inter-molecular forces.
